The Woodhouse Sports Academy specialises in coaching hockey – it’s no surprise really, given our head coach, Trid Woodhouse’s, playing and coaching experience.

We believe a little extra coaching in the best environment with the best coaches can go a long way. We focus on teaching why, not just how, when it comes to drills – this way, players learn when to apply their new skills in real situations and you’ll see them improve quickly!

Wherever possible, our goal is to give players the opportunity to meet and learn from elite and international hockey representatives. How else can you learn the same drills our very own Australian teams are taught? Of course, we make it more fun!

With junior development at the heart of it, we also feel it’s important to support clubs, coaches, schools and teachers so that we can all pass on valuable lessons to future players. We offer a variety of programs including specialised team clinics and coach-the-coaches sessions and can always tailor something to suit.
